Job summary

ELCO Lighting, an established Los Angeles lighting fixture manufacturer, seeks an experienced electrical or mechanical engineer to design and manage LED fixtures for residential and commercial markets.

The role requires strong lighting knowledge, at least five years in the lighting industry, and ability to handle UL/Title 24 compliance, testing, and documentation. In-person work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong lighting knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the lighting industry.
• Knowledge of UL, CA Title 24 testing requirements and procedures.
• Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems in the lab and field.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage new LED fixtures.
• Production quality control and inspection of fixtures.
• Coordinate UL and CA Title 24 requirements with production.
• Improve existing product lines design.
• Provide product technical support to customers.
• Develop documents for UL listings and regulatory approvals.
• Coordinate with test labs for product approvals.
• Test samples to UL standards.
