The Senior LED Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, VA, responsible for leading the deployment, operation, and maintenance of LED video wall and display systems for events of varying size and complexity. This role includes planning LED system configurations, preparing equipment, and coordinating with project managers and clients to understand event requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions. The Senior LED Engineer will install, rig, and align LED displays; manage signal routing and processing; perform testing and troubleshooting; and ensure optimal image quality and reliability throughout each event. Day-to-day tasks also involve supervising junior technicians, enforcing safety standards, maintaining inventory and equipment logs, and collaborating with the broader audio-visual team to integrate LED systems with sound, lighting, and presentation technologies. The person in this role is expected to provide on-site technical support during events, respond quickly to issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of LED workflows and best practices.
