Job description

Overview

Veloxity is a fast-growing event tech company powering experiences with phone charging stations, interactive touch screens, and LED digital signage. We work with event planners, marketers, and venues across North America and internationally to elevate event experiences through technology and branding.

Position Overview

As our LED Specialist & Event Setup Technician, you’ll play a critical role in bringing our most high-impact event experiences to life. From configuring LED displays to executing seamless on-site setups, you’ll be hands-on with the technology that drives engagement at live events.

This is a hybrid role—split between warehouse prep, technical configuration, and on-site execution. You’ll travel to events 2–5 times per month, working directly with our team to ensure every setup looks and performs flawlessly.

If you enjoy working with technology, problem-solving in real time, and being part of live event environments, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Configuring and testing LED panels, processors, and playback systems before events
  • Building, installing, and breaking down LED walls and digital displays on-site
  • Troubleshooting technical issues during setup and live event operation
  • Loading and managing content across LED displays (resolutions, scaling, syncing)
  • Coordinating with the operations team to ensure all equipment is prepared and event-ready
  • Assisting with warehouse organization, inventory, and equipment maintenance
  • Supporting deliveries and transport of equipment to and from event venues
  • Working closely with clients and on-site teams to execute setups smoothly
  • Traveling to events (2–5 times per month), including occasional multi-day setups
What We’re Looking For
  • A hands-on, tech-minded problem solver who enjoys working with hardware and live setups
  • Background or interest in computer engineering, AV technology, or related field
  • Comfortable working with cables, signal flow, and digital display systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot under pressure
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and work on your feet during setups
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and with a team
  • Willingness to travel regularly (2–5 times per month)
  • Experience with LED walls, video processors (e.g., Novastar), or AV setups is a plus—but not required
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Hands-on training with industry-leading event technology
  • Opportunity to travel and work on high-profile live events
  • Career growth opportunities within technical operations
  • A fast-paced, team-oriented environment
