Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International is seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to drive strategy and occupancy across a premium industrial and commercial property portfolio. You will own the full leasing lifecycle, negotiate terms, and work closely with brokers, tenants and internal teams to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or similar.
• 8–10 years’ experience in industrial/commercial leasing (pre-leasing/build-to-suit).
• Strong network within the brokerage community with a proven deal track record.
• In-depth knowledge of lease structures, negotiations, and market dynamics.
• Experience using property management and CRM systems.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Active real estate licence (as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute leasing strategies to maximise occupancy and rental income.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to position assets competitively.
• Source, attract, and retain high-quality tenants across the portfolio.
• Lead lease negotiations to secure favourable commercial terms.
• Drive property marketing initiatives and broker engagement.
• Manage the full transaction process from initial interest through to lease execution.
• Oversee lease administration including renewals, amendments, and compliance.
• Deliver regular reporting on leasing performance, occupancy, and revenue.
• Conduct property tours and present assets to prospective tenants.
• Partner with finance and property teams on budgeting and performance optimisation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, tenants, and stakeholders.
• Resolve tenant issues and leasing challenges effectively.
