A leading recruitment solutions firm is seeking a Senior Lease Accountant in Dallas, Texas. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of $90K-$95K plus bonus. Responsibilities include assisting with ASC 842 compliance, month-end close activities, and evaluating lease contracts. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of total experience including 3 years directly with lease accounting.
• Strong understanding of lease accounting principles and ASC 842.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ASC 842 standard and month-end close activities.
• Perform month-end close reconciliation and analysis for rent.
• Evaluate new/modified lease contracts' impact.
• Conduct financial reporting and ad hoc projects.
• Partner to determine capital vs operating treatment on leases.
• Document assessments of leases for treatment classification.
• Provide financial analysis to operations.
• Act as a trusted business partner to leadership.

This is a Hybrid position and pays 90K-95K+Bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the new ASC 842 standard and lease accounting month-end close activities
• Month-end close reconciliation and analysis for rent
• Evaluate the impact of new and/or modified lease contracts
• Perform ad hoc projects and financial reporting
• Partner with team to create Company’s capital versus operating treatment on leases
• Responsible for documentation of the Company’s assessment of leases for capital vs operating treatment
• Provide financial analysis to operations
• Serve as a trusted business partner to leadership and accounting group

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Experience working with ASC 842
• Minimum of 3-5 years total experience and 3 years working directly with lease accounting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
