Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in instructional technology or related field.
• Minimum of two years of Canvas administration experience.
• Experience applying learning design principles to courses.
• Experience supporting instructional technology and communicating with users.
• Knowledge of digital accessibility and best practices for online learning.
• Strong communication, organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the College’s primary functional administrator for Canvas, including configuration, term, course and section processes, user roles and permissions, and integrations.
• Coordinate LMS updates, testing, integrations, and implementation of new functionality.
• Consult with faculty on the design, development, and continuous improvement of online, in-person, and hybrid courses.
• Develop templates and resources to support consistent course design and delivery.
• Evaluate and support instructional technologies and provide training and professional development.
• Promote quality and accessibility in online and technology-enhanced instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
