Job summary

The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking a Senior Manager Learning and Innovation to provide strategic leadership for division-wide staff capability-building. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design, leadership and management, or related field.
• Master’s degree or 7+ years of senior leadership experience may be substituted.
• Seven years of progressively responsible experience in higher education or related field.
• Ability to maintain UT San Antonio security and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads a multi-year strategy for staff capability-building in Student Success.
• Designs integrated learning experiences, onboarding, and training with People Excellence.
• Shapes leadership development to strengthen cross-unit collaboration and service model alignment.
• Promotes adoption of Student Success tech tools and provides practical training.
• Leads initiatives to foster staff innovation across division.
• Oversees onboarding standards and resource coordination.
• Partners with IT, analytics teams, and vendors to align training priorities.
• Uses data to measure impact and inform priority setting.
• Represents Student Success in cross-institutional conversations.
