Role Summary

The Service, Collision, 3rd Party Learning Experience Designer will play a critical role in designing and developing engaging, scalable learning experiences for the Technical Service teams. The candidate should have experience in conceptualizing, developing, and deploying compelling learning experiences for internal and external Service and Collision networks, collaborating across departments from Service Engineering to documentation teams. The role requires expertise in instructional design and user-centric design principles to create scalable learning solutions across modalities like ILT, OLT, VILT.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain instructional materials and content using effective methodologies and technologies.
• Partner with Service, Collision, 3rd party stakeholders, and L&D teams to build technical and non-technical training based on departmental needs.
• Design engaging eLearning content using platforms and adaptive learning methods.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and experts for development needs.
• Evaluate and organize learning strategies and programs.
• Support learning initiatives through designing, developing, and assessing content.
• Build relationships within the company, Collision, and third-party networks to identify opportunities.
• Create design documents with objectives, content, assessments, and evaluation criteria.
• Develop assessments and metrics to measure performance and outcomes, and summarize data for stakeholders.
• Organize and assist in creating learning manuals, pre-work, and evaluation procedures with multimedia aids.
• Create eLearning modules and facilitator guides to scale L&D efforts at Rivian.
• Design Google Slides for ILTs and briefings.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of instructional design and eLearning software (Articulate 360, Google Suite preferred).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, specifically Cornerstone On Demand.
• Familiarity with video content creation/editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Synthesia).
• Knowledge of other learning tech solutions (AR/VR, CGI, 3D imaging).
• Experience with industry-standard methodologies (ADDIE).
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in Graphic Design.
• Self-motivated with experience in ILT, virtual learning, eLearning, and OJT.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training development models.
• Willingness to travel for hands-on product and training development.
