Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design, develop, and facilitate comprehensive training programs. You will act as a strategic consultant to business leaders on performance improvement, employee engagement, career development, and talent management initiatives.

The role partners with stakeholders to assess learning needs, manage instructional design projects from assessment through evaluation, and deliver programs ranging from new hire orientation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to conduct performance analyses, identify gaps and determine training needs.
• Lead instructional design projects from assessment through evaluation.
• Facilitate professional development programs including new hire orientation and corporate culture initiatives.
• Coordinate vendor selection and logistics for training classes.
• Create video and audio content for web delivery.
