Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. seeks a Senior Learning Designer to lead the design and development of pilot training programs using ISD and related processes.

You will produce analysis reports, curriculum outlines, implementation plans, instructor guides, and regulatory documentation, collaborating with stakeholders at all leadership levels to ensure compliant, effective training. The role involves applying ADDIE phases, supporting audits, and maintaining documentation and training systems.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Education, ISD, Aviation or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies.
• Minimum of five years of training-related work experience.
• Minimum of two years of project management experience.
• Experience with compliance training.
• Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop pilot training programs using ISD and ADDIE.
• Produce analysis reports, design documents, curricula outlines and implementation plans.
• Create instructor guides, syllabi and Learning Objectives Documents.
• Coordinate with stakeholders at leadership levels to ensure compliant, effective training.
• Support internal and external audits and validation activities.
• Maintain formal documentation and training systems (PADB and certification).
