Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Lean Transformation Leader to drive regional Lean programs across Patient Services, Laboratories, Logistics, and related functions.

The role focuses on end-to-end value streams, applying Lean Six Sigma concepts to deliver productivity gains, cost reductions, and revenue improvements. The position requires 7+ years of Lean leadership in manufacturing or transactional settings and experience coaching teams in standard Lean tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cross-functional roles including leadership experience directly applying Lean methodologies.
• Proven knowledge & experience applying Lean methodologies in both production/manufacturing and transactional office environments
• Demonstrated Lean Six Sigma leadership at leading multiple initiatives and Kaizen events to achieve operational results.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify Lean initiatives across key end-to-end value streams and clearly define business impact.
• Lead multiple complex Lean initiatives through all stages of charter, program development or problem solving, implementation, and sustainment.
• Demonstrate expertise in application of standard Lean Toolkit (Std Work, DMS, Problem Solving, Kaizen, VSM and more) and effective use of data analysis.
• Engage with senior leadership and stakeholder teams to obtain support and participation in business transformation initiatives.
• Drive cultural transformation by promoting problem solving and empowering employee ownership of their roles in continuous improvement.
