Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Lean/Continuous Improvement professional to lead and execute process improvement and business integration efforts within Power Grid Operations. You will own lean events, engage with stakeholders, and drive sustainability from identification through action items and maturity.

Strong facilitation and leadership are required to collaborate with various leadership levels. The role emphasizes coaching others, applying Six Sigma/Kaizen tools, and delivering

Qualifications

Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience in continuous improvement, engineering, operations management, or related fields.
Associate degree with substantial experience in continuous improvement or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

Own and execute lean events and business integration efforts based on priority from senior management; engage stakeholders and analytics; plan, facilitate, and drive sustainability measures.
Generate and deliver work products for process framework and business integration requirements (readiness tactics, impacts, etc.).
Coach and mentor peer teams on lean concepts and application to the business model.
