Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Process Engineer to develop and implement process improvements, troubleshoot manufacturing equipment (PLCs, vision systems, robotics, sensors), and drive continuous improvement across operations in a high‑mix manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes leveraging lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and R&D teams, and maintaining comprehensive process documentation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with OEE and SCADA systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality using lean/Six Sigma
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment including PLCs, vision systems, robotics, and sensors
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Monitor and improve manufacturing performance with OEE and SCADA systems
• Provide technical support to production teams to ensure smooth operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and equipment
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams, and work instructions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and resolve issues
