Job summary

Phenomenex, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Sr. Continuous Improvement (DBS) Engineer (P3) at the US Distribution Center in Torrance, CA.

You will lead cross-functional improvements across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping, applying Lean/DBS to raise throughput and reduce lead times. You will analyze distribution data with Power BI and Excel, define action plans, partner with Operations and Trade Compliance, and drive measurable results in an on-site role requiring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Strong experience with distribution, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations (5+ years).
• Hands‑on experience with Lean/DBS or similar methodologies (PSP/Kaizen) and strong planning/execution skills.
• Advanced data analysis skills with Excel/Power BI; ability to work with unstructured data to identify gaps and drive action.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification and resolution of gaps in operational flow across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping and manufacturing processes.
• Drive improvements in throughput, lead time, quality, and cost using Lean/DBS methods.
• Analyze operational data with Power BI, D365, and Excel; translate into actionable insights and reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and frontline teams to drive execution and measurable results.
