Slate in Warsaw, IN is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer, Lean Manufacturing to join our team. The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and supporting new product launches in a fast-growing automotive environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Lean Manufacturing, a strong track record with process optimization and plant launches, and certification in Lean; Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years related experience in automotive/manufacturing Lean environments.
• Proven track record in Lean implementation and plant launches.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing is required.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Slate Production System development and optimization.
• Analyze, design, and improve processes to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing and capacity analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focusing on cost and productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production and Supply Chain.
• Support NPI and launch readiness activities, including PFMEA and control plans.
• Develop KPI dashboards and provide training on Lean practices.
