Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Staff Engineer, Continuous Improvement to lead Lean manufacturing and CI initiatives, partnering with cross‑functional teams to analyze workflows, implement sustainable improvements, support new product introductions, and ensure compliant, high‑quality manufacturing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of CI/engineering experience, Lean Six Sigma belt, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IE/ME or related field.
• 5+ years leading process improvement in production.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and waste.
• Analyze workflows and data to identify opportunities and establish standards.
• Develop solutions for technical/process challenges with quality/regulatory compliance.
• Support NPI and manufacturing transfer by aligning capabilities and requirements.
• Evaluate plant layouts, capacity, and workflow for performance and safety.
• Create and standardize manufacturing instructions and process documentation.
• Select equipment based on specs and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering on testing and validation protocols.
