Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish seeks a Senior Manager to lead the WorkFirst Community Jobs and Community Works programs in Seattle. You will oversee a dedicated team of Employment Specialists and ensure high-quality services in partnership with state agencies.

You will translate funding requirements into clear workflows, monitor outcomes, support staff development, and maintain strong data and billing processes. This onsite role is based at Opportunity Place in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Workforce Development, Public Administration, Business Admin, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in workforce development, TANF/WorkFirst or related.
• At least 3 years of staff supervision and day-to-day program leadership.
• Experience managing complex program operations, contracts, compliance, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail in monitoring files, payroll, and documentation.
• Ability to interpret program requirements and translate into procedures.
• Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, organizational, and relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn databases/payroll systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across departments.
• Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, inclusion, and respectful service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the WorkFirst Community Jobs and Community Works programs, including staff supervision and service delivery.
• Translate funding requirements into workflows, documentation standards, and service practices.
• Monitor program outcomes, enrollments, placements, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Oversee participant payroll processing, onboarding, and payroll documentation.
• Manage contracts, billing, monitoring, and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
• Develop partnerships with DSHS, Commerce, and worksites and support program development.
