Job summary

L&G Asset Management America is seeking a Head of US Middle Office Oversight to lead and govern critical post-trade functions across Trade Services, Derivatives Operations, Collateral Management, Reconciliations, Asset Servicing, and vendor governance.

The role requires 12-15+ years of investment operations experience, a track record of raising control standards, and the ability to partner with Portfolio Management, Risk, Compliance, and Technology to drive automation and resilience.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years in investment operations, middle office, or post-trade.
• Deep expertise across trade services, settlements, derivatives, collateral management, reconciliations, corporate actions, and outsourced operating models.
• Proven track record leading multiple operational disciplines through managers and senior team leads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trade lifecycle, settlement, funding, and market claims.
• Manage OTC/ETD lifecycle events, margin, UMR, and pricing.
• Lead reconciliations across cash, positions, transactions, derivatives, collateral.
• Oversee asset servicing, corporate actions, and election management.
• Govern vendor/broker oversight including SLA/KPI management.
• Strengthen risk & controls, including SOC1 and regulatory readiness.
• Drive transformation and automation with dashboards and workflow optimization.
