Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology or related field with 7+ years post-degree experience.
• Deep expertise in cancer genetics, tumor genomics, statistical genomics, bioinformatics, and quantitative data analysis.
• Experience integrating multimodal data to support oncology target identification, validation, or biomarker development.
• Experience developing and communicating rigorous target-credentialing or evidence-synthesis packages.
• Strong scientific judgment and ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience applying AI-accelerated approaches in computational biology, including foundation models.
• Experience delivering reusable AI capabilities across programs with robust, reusable design.
• Understanding of data-product and AI-product practices: version control, testing, provenance, reproducible computing, deployment.
• Ability to set priorities, manage delivery risks, and influence scientific decisions in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of tumor-genomics analyses, data resources, credentialing evidence packages, and reusable computational capabilities.
• Provide scientific leadership in cancer genetics, tumor genomics, statistical genomics, bioinformatics, and quantitative analysis.
• Integrate complex oncology data types to generate insights for target identification and biomarker development.
• Establish and apply rigorous standards for target credentialing and evidence interpretation.
• Partner with biology, translational, pharmacology, and drug discovery to align analyses with program needs.
• Develop scalable approaches for target assessment and evidence synthesis across the Oncology portfolio.
• Define and execute AI-enabled approaches prioritizing scientific value and user needs.
• Guide development of AI-enabled skills for data discovery, literature synthesis, and workflow execution.
• Collaborate with AI/ML and data teams to translate prototypes into scalable research capabilities.
• Ensure standards for version control, testing, documentation, provenance, and reproducible computing.
• Manage priorities, risks, and tradeoffs; communicate progress to leadership.
