Forward is seeking a Senior Manager, Risk & Compliance Operations to own the weekly rhythm and governance that keep Onboarding, Transaction Monitoring, and Merchant Maintenance running smoothly. You will design and implement a robust control framework, including risk appetite, DOA, and L2 governance, while codifying policies in a scalable, living document system.

You will partner with pod leads to align risk judgment, oversee partner and merchant risk assessments, and drive cross-pod consistency

Formación

• 5+ years in risk or compliance operations at fintech, payments, or banking.
• Deep knowledge of KYC/KYB, AML/BSA, chargebacks, merchant risk tiering.
• Experience building risk appetite statements, DOA matrices, or L2 governance.
• Leadership by guiding policy and cadence rather than hands-on execution.
• Data literacy with SQL; ability to read risk dashboards and loss reports.
• Clear communication with execs, auditors, regulators.
• Operational rigor with repeatable SLAs and escalation paths.

Responsabilidades

• Run the weekly rhythm across Onboarding, Transaction Monitoring, and Merchant Maintenance pods with cadence and SLAs.
• Design and own the control framework: Risk Appetite, Delegation of Authority, Control Inventory, L2 Governance.
• Build policies: Risk Assessment, Underwriting, Sanctions, Merchant Termination; ensure enforcement.
• Establish partner and merchant risk assessment processes.
• Partner with pod leads on risk judgment and policy interpretation; act as operational anchor.
