Job summary

You will guide a team, analyze data, and translate evolving abuse trends into proactive enforcement while upholding freedom of expression and user protection.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Trust & Safety or policy roles focusing on high harm issues.
• Proven ability to lead senior professionals and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to collaborate with external partners to ensure policy expectations.
• Structured, policy- and process-oriented thinking.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to a multifaceted team to reduce high-harm content.
• Own program performance tracking and set strategies to meet goals.
• Act as senior escalation lead for USDS Policy Implementation team.
• Interface with cross-functional partners including government relations and communications.
• Drive strategic response to high-harm issues and translate patterns into insights.
• Provide policy implementation support for safety strategies including keywords, hashtags and search.
• Identify emerging policy risks and drive mitigations.
• Rely on data-driven assessments to inform policy development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to track US/global trends and turn insights into enforcement.
