Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a senior leader to manage the Assortment Optimization team, driving analysis and recommendations for 1,500+ category reviews annually across 5 GLBs. You will oversee budget, tool development, and cross-functional collaboration with brand finance and merchandising teams.

The role requires 8+ years in retail/related fields, 5+ years of leadership, and a strong track record in system/process improvements. Hybrid work model in the US with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Retail, Business, or Technology related roles required.
• 5+ Years demonstrated effectiveness leading people/teams.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Office usage.
• History of driving continuous improvement of systems, processes, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Assortment Optimization team in providing detailed analysis and recommendations across 1,500+ reviews annually.
• Oversee assortment optimization in wareroom and Ecommerce Fulfillment Centers.
• Manage Fair Share funding for the Single Source Program ($100M+ yearly).
• Set annual income and spending targets with brand finance teams and report to Brand Finance & Merchandising leaders.
• Drive development of guidelines for macro and micro space management aligned with strategic goals.
• Coordinate collaboration between Brand Merchandising and Assortment Services for new products and concepts.
• Lead training and development initiatives across Assortment Services.
