Job summary

RTX’s Naval Airborne Systems is seeking a Principal Lead Systems Engineer to guide the technical execution of ASP Development programs in Plano, TX. You will shape system-level requirements, architecture, and verification across development and production, ensuring alignment with missions and customer expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years of engineering experience across the development and production lifecycle, including system-level design and integration.
Sensor, processor, and software elements within integrated systems.
Active and transferrable final DoD Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required for access.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple project teams across disciplines and lifecycle stages; guide technical execution.
Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and shared services to align strategy and execution.
Coordinate activities across programs and with external customer entities.
Translate mission requirements into lower-level requirements for programs and suppliers.
Provide program leadership to Cross Product Teams and Integrated Product Teams; mentor engineers.
