Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise systems administration, infrastructure engineering, platform architecture, or related technology disciplines.
• Demonstrated expertise supporting global, mission-critical technology platforms and business applications.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide technology transformations, cloud initiatives, platform migrations, and infrastructure modernization programs.
• Experience with MS 365 stack and identity management.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management and enterprise messaging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Acushnet's principal technical authority for enterprise collaboration, messaging, infrastructure, identity, and business application platforms.
• Provide strategic leadership for design, governance, security, scalability, and long-term evolution of technologies supporting global business operations.
• Define and influence enterprise-wide technology strategies, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish roadmaps aligning with business objectives.
• Provide architectural leadership across Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, identity management, and Azure services.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives, cloud transformations, digital workplace programs, and infrastructure optimization to enhance employee experience and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop technical staff, establish operational standards and best practices, and support cybersecurity, DR, and resiliency initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead System Administrator to serve as Acushnet's principal technical authority for enterprise collaboration, messaging, infrastructure, identity, and business application platforms. As a key member of the Enterprise Services organization, you will provide strategic leadership for the design, governance, security, scalability, and long-term evolution of the technologies that support our global business operations. In this role, you will define and influence enterprise-wide technology strategies, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish roadmaps that align with business objectives and future growth. You will provide architectural leadership across Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, identity and access management, Azure services, enterprise messaging platforms, and other critical business systems. As a recognized technical expert, you will lead platform modernization initiatives, cloud transformations, digital workplace programs, and infrastructure optimization efforts that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency. You will serve as the highest-level escalation point for complex technical challenges impacting business-critical systems, leveraging your expertise to resolve operational, performance, integration, and security issues. Working closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional technology teams, you will help shape enterprise architecture decisions, establish governance frameworks, and ensure technology investments deliver long-term value. Additionally, you will mentor and develop technical staff across the organization, establish operational standards and best practices, and support key initiatives related to cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency. What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise systems administration, infrastructure engineering, platform architecture, or related technology disciplines.
• Demonstrated expertise supporting global, mission-critical technology platforms and business applications.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise-wide technology transformations, cloud initiatives, platform migrations, and infrastructure modernization programs.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory, and Microsoft Azure services.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, enterprise messaging platforms, infrastructure monitoring, automation, and operational support best practices.
• Experience establishing enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Proven ability to influence enterprise technology strategy and architecture decisions at senior leadership levels.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale technical projects with significant business and operational impact.
• Strong experience supporting disaster recovery, business continuity planning, cybersecurity initiatives, and operational resiliency programs.
• Professional certifications strongly preferred, including Microsoft 365, Azure, MCSE, ITIL, cybersecurity, or related certifications.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and systems-thinking capabilities with the ability to solve highly complex technical challenges.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive, business, and non-technical audiences.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers, administrators, architects, and cross-functional technology teams.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and develop long-term platform strategies that support business growth and operational excellence.
• Ability to travel as needed to support global operations and strategic initiatives.
