Job summary

Found is hiring a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to work across product teams. This high-impact, full-stack role involves shipping customer-facing features and raising the technical bar while helping engineers grow.

You’ll embed with product teams, partner with senior engineers and managers, and own outcomes from scoping to deployment, shaping the architecture and technology choices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Production experience with Ruby on Rails and frontend with React/TypeScript
• Experience with relational databases at scale (MySQL, Spanner)
• Track record of cross-team collaboration and alignment
• Strong communication skills
• High standards for code quality

Responsibilities

• Ship customer-facing features in core product (banking, tax automation, expense tracking)
• Work across the stack: backend APIs, data modeling, frontend experiences
• Collaborate with product and design to ship features quickly
• Own your work end-to-end: scoping, building, reviewing, monitoring
• Raise the technical bar through code review and architecture input
• Develop engineers around you: mentoring and pairing
