Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Strong hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages and proficient in Python, Django, SQL and cloud tech.
• Experience with AWS and DataBricks ecosystem stacks and related data services.
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases and orchestration/streaming tech like Kafka.
• Proficiency in automation, CI/CD, and agile methodologies; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and debugging with ability to tackle complex problems.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Supports day-to-day operations of the trade execution platform with business users.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve stability across systems.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies and practices.
