Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer, Software to join our Americas engineering team in Richardson, TX. You will develop orchestration software for GPU/AI data center racks, build visualization tools, and create diagnostics to optimize server utilization.

The role covers full-stack development, cloud-native Kubernetes deployments, and test automation. You will mentor peers, design test strategies, and work with product and customers to validate requirements and deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6–12 years of software engineering in data center or GPU/AI environments.
• Strong Python and Go programming skills.
• Experience with orchestration software and network validation.
• Familiarity with Agile development and test strategies.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect/Develop/Validate a full stack application for next-gen data centers.
• Use Cloud Native development for Kubernetes deployments.
• Build network validation techniques for GPU-centric traffic.
• Optimize code for performance and scalability; adopt GenAI tools.
• Mentor teammates and work cross-functionally.
• Develop test strategies and frameworks for REST APIs and k8s.
• Collaborate with product, customers, and sales to ensure handoff.
• Present innovations in technical forums and with customers.
