You will apply deep technical expertise across Java and Python, champion AI-assisted development, and influence architectural decisions while maintaining a focus on security

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Java and/or Python in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Designs and troubleshoots software solutions beyond routine approaches.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Promotes secure coding, peer reviews, automated testing, and reuse of patterns across teams.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architectures and credentials.
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to spread new technologies.
