Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the Infrastructure Platforms team. You will guide multiteam efforts, drive AI-assisted engineering practices, and influence product design and operations across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments.

You will leverage deep technical expertise to mentor teams, implement secure, scalable solutions, and optimize the SDLC with automation and telemetry tools.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure engineering concepts such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors and vendors.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools including AI-assisted development to improve automation at scale.
• Makes decisions affecting product design, functionality, and technical operations.
• Architects changes with other platforms to modernize technology processes.
• Responsible for infrastructure engineering aligning with business requirements.
• Drives multiple complex programs and thought leadership in the product line.
• Advocates firmwide SDLC frameworks and practices.
