Job summary
University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Biology seeks a Researcher Senior Lead to act as database engineer and application developer on an NIH U19 project. You will coordinate data intake, management, and tools development across a multi-institution team to advance aging research across tissues and life stages.

Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in a related field with one (1) year of related experience OR Master's degree with three (3) years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of related experience required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the collaborative expansion of an existing project database.
- Lead the development of APIs for accessing and visualizing project data.
- Lead the development of web-based user interfaces for dissemination and visualization of behavioral and biological data.
- Coordinate intake pipelines for previous and newly generated data and metadata not yet in the database.
- Coordinate weekly office hours to offer feedback to collaboration researchers.
- Establish procedures and pipelines for flagging or correcting errors.
