Job summary

EMD Serono, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Preclinical Pharmacology to lead in vivo pharmacology for Fertility assets. The role involves designing and interpreting studies, shaping translational strategies, and contributing to IND-enabling packages.

You will collaborate with Immunology, Neuroscience, and DMPK teams, manage CROs, and drive KPI-driven program milestones in a hybrid work setting in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have PhD in a relevant field and 8+ years drug discovery experience.
• Strong track record in in vivo pharmacology and endocrine models.
• Experience leading cross-functional discovery teams and CRO partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret in vivo pharmacology studies.
• Lead cross-functional project teams for Fertility assets.
• Author pharmacology summaries and regulatory documents.
• Manage CROs and external collaborations; track KPIs and timelines.
