What You’ll Do
- Lead project teams and manage discipline to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Prepare engineering deliverables—including narratives, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Attend client meetings and coordinate efforts between external partners and internal project teams.
- Apply engineering judgment to guide projects from concepts through construction.
- Design mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and perform energy modeling.
- Assemble effective project teams and develop detailed work plans, tasks, and assignments.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary work and interpret building codes and mechanical standards.
- Oversee engineering calculations, equipment selection, and site visits.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to staff.
- Update master specifications and company standards to improve processes.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Implement the project quality management plan (QMP).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Professional engineering credential (e.g., PE).
- Minimum 2–4 years of mechanical engineering experience (or 5–10 years of related work).
- Prior leadership experience and ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Technical expertise in mechanical engineering concepts and effective communication of design options.
- Strong delegation and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Revit/AutoCAD.
What We Offer
Hiring Base Salary Range: $122,300–$151,100 annually.
Additional compensation includes overtime pay at one-and‑half time rates and annual performance‑based reviews.
