Job summary

Flexjet is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own the architecture and delivery of enterprise-scale full-stack applications. You will mentor engineers, drive API and front-end design with Angular and .NET, and optimize SQL Server databases for performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while upholding coding standards and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
• Extensive experience with Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservices, and database design.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and support of full-stack software solutions using Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through code reviews and architectural guidance.
• Design scalable APIs and services consumed by multiple applications.
• Drive front-end architecture and UX improvements with Angular.
• Lead database design, data modeling, and performance tuning in SQL Server.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Enforce development standards and coding best practices across the team.
• Plan, estimate, and execute strategic initiatives and large-scale projects.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges across front-end, back-end, and database components.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and productivity.
