Job summary

Flexjet LLC is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to drive architecture, design, and delivery of full-stack solutions across private aviation brands. You will mentor engineers, lead API and front-end developments with Angular and C#/NET, and shape data models in SQL Server.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of enterprise experience, strong OO and microservices knowledge, and a track record in Agile environments.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience with increasing technical leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience leading the design and delivery of enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
Extensive experience developing applications using Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservices, and database design.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
Proven ability to influence technical direction and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, development, and support of full-stack software solutions utilizing Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and coaching on engineering best practices.
Design and develop scalable, high-performance APIs and services consumed across multiple business-critical applications.
Drive front-end architecture and user experience improvements using Angular and modern web development practices.
Lead database design efforts, including data modeling, performance optimization, query tuning, and integration strategies within SQL Server environments.
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Enforce software development standards, architectural principles, and coding best practices across the team.
Lead technical planning, estimation, and execution of strategic initiatives and large-scale projects.
Identify and resolve complex technical challenges spanning front-end, back-end, database, and integration components.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve application performance, maintainability, security, and developer productivity.
Serve as a technical escalation point for critical production issues and provide leadership in root cause analysis and resolution efforts.
Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to application modernization, DevOps practices, and software quality.
