Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator or chief estimator in construction.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Proficiency with cost estimation software and tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimations team to deliver accurate bids.
• Review project plans and specs; perform site visits as needed.
• Develop accurate, competitive cost estimates using data and benchmarks.
• Prepare and submit bids aligned with specifications and requirements.
• Foster relationships with vendors and subcontractors for quotes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Utilize technology to improve estimation accuracy and efficiency.
