Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• GE Aerospace will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, analysis, and maturation of midframe components and structures for gas turbine engine applications.
• Provide technical leadership for component ownership, design decisions, trade studies, and issue resolution.
• Partner with stress, thermal, manufacturing, materials, systems, and program teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Drive execution of technical deliverables to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Manage design changes, support producibility improvements, and coordinate validation and release processes.
• Lead and facilitate the Midframe weekly scrum, including assembly/test, hardware WIP, delivery, QDC, and testing.
• Communicate status, risks, decisions, and recovery plans clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Mentor engineers and strengthen technical rigor and team engagement.
