Job summary
WSP USA is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineering Manager to oversee complex electrical design and construction efforts across Boise, ID; Virginia Beach, VA; and Huntsville, AL. The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring code compliance, and delivering technical reports and client-facing presentations.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years of electrical experience, a PE license, and deep knowledge of DoD criteria.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- PE license required for the role.
- 15+ years of post-education electrical engineering experience.
- US citizenship required per client constraints.
- Extensive knowledge of DoD criteria including FC 1-300-9N, UFC 3-501-01, UFC 3-550-01.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, review and approve electrical design plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
- Apply high-level engineering techniques across concept to operation life cycle.
- Lead future-ready design and operation considerations to ensure safety and functionality.
- Oversee design/construction management of electrical systems across multiple projects.
- Guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, hours, and regulatory documentation.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining findings and recommendations.
