DLB Associates seeks a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer, Mission Critical, to drive electrical design for hyperscale data centers and critical facilities. You will collaborate with design staff, lead full-cycle electrical design for commercial buildings, and guide project specifications and development efforts.

You will work in a self-directed, remote capacity from anywhere in the United States, leading teams on complex projects while aligning with organizational goals and safety standards.

Formación

• Expert knowledge of mission critical electrical infrastructure including utility services, medium- and low-voltage distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, parallelingswitchgear, transfer schemes, and critical power distribution.
• Expert understanding of resilient power architectures including N, N+1, 2N, distributed redundant, and concurrently maintainable system designs.
• Knowledge of codes and specifications for the design of electrical systems including National Electric Code, Life Safety and Energy Conservation Codes
• Knowledge of technical / design software including short circuit coordination and arc flash studies, equipment sizing, underground feeder calculations and lighting calculations
• Demonstrated experience serving as Engineer of Record or technical lead for complex mission critical projects.
• Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management
• Skilled at producing drawings and visual aids using AutoCAD and / or Revit
• Skilled in performing code analysis including selection of equipment, wiring, etc. to meet code requirements
• Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
• Ability to work remotely with strong communication and organization
• Ability to follow company and site safety requirements
• Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and serve as primary contact
• Ability to plan and delegate work effectively
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks

Responsabilidades

• Lead Electrical Engineering Design Activities for mission critical projects and oversee design from concept through construction documents.
• Provide technical oversight and QA/QC for engineering teams across concurrent projects.
• Develop proposals including project scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead the engineering team and interact closely with project management; review drawings and submittals.
• Manage stakeholder relations and serve as primary client contact when needed.
