Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Early Talent Programs Senior Specialist in Chicago to lead planning and execution of early talent programs, internship activities, and onboarding. You will coordinate campus events, partner with recruiters and stakeholders, and manage the intern experience across the recruitment journey.

You’ll deliver marketing materials, track results, and support onboarding while collaborating with university partners and senior leaders to strengthen CIBC’s campus presence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, campus recruitment, or early talent programming.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong relationship-building with student interns, business partners, and senior leaders.
• Experience delivering recruitment programs and events from planning through delivery.
• Candidate- and client-focused with clear, responsive communication.
• Ownership mindset and accountability for results.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination and delivery of early talent programs.
• Manage summer intern programming from planning through execution.
• Build trusted relationships with student interns and senior leaders.
• Collaborate with recruiters, Learning & Development, and cross-functional partners.
• Develop university partnerships to strengthen CIBC’s employer brand.
• Track metrics and support interview scheduling and program records.
