Job summary
City of New York seeks a Senior IT Architect to lead the technical direction of enterprise applications within the Energy Application Development team. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field and six years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure web applications on the Microsoft Azure stack.
- Own the technical direction of enterprise .NET solutions across tiers.
- Lead architectural reviews and establish coding standards across the team.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through reviews and guidance.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and tasks.
- Build integrations with enterprise systems, RESTful APIs, and cloud services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and perform QA testing.
