Job summary

Coupa is seeking a senior ML leader to define the long-term technical roadmap for applied ML within Supply Chain and Sourcing. You will partner with the Operations Research team to design robust predictive models that feed downstream optimization algorithms.

You will mentor the Data Science team, drive scalable ML infrastructure, and translate complex ideas to executives and product managers, enabling measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience building and deploying ML models.
• Deep expertise in predictive modeling, time-series forecasting, and modern ML frameworks (Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term ML roadmap for Supply Chain and Sourcing.
• Design and build robust predictive models used in optimization.
• Research, prototype, and deploy state-of-the-art ML models (Time Series, NLP, GenAI).
• Architect scalable ML infrastructure and pipelines for multi-tenant SaaS.
• Mentor Data Science team and promote best practices in data science.
• Translate business problems into structured data science projects and communicate with executives.
