Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Lead Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations in a client-driven environment. You will cook using standardized recipes, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures. You will safely handle equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers, while guiding team members to maintain quality and efficiency.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to safety standards, and producing meals that meet production guidelines and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Experience as a cook or related role required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise daily work activities for staff.
• Train staff on duties, safety, sanitation, and cooking methods.
• Cook and prepare food following recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, chopping, and trimming.
• Safely use knives and operating ovens, stoves, and mixers.
• Cook using diverse methods for meats, vegetables, and other foods.
• Portion and garnish food per guidelines.
• Store food following safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain excellent guest service and positive attitude.
