JPMorganChase in Seattle is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to drive secure, scalable technology products within the Corporate Sector, Infrastructure Platforms. You will guide an agile team, shape architecture, and deliver production-ready software.

You will own cloud platform deployments, CI/CD, IaC, and collaboration with AI teams to align compute and infrastructure with business needs. Expect deep technical challenges across Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud services while

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering; 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker) including cluster operations and production troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python/Go/Java/C#).
• Knowledge of cloud delivery models (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and deployment models (Public/Private/Hybrid).
• Foundational understanding of ML concepts including transformer architecture, training, and inference.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance aligned to business goals, collaborating with engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code; review, debug, and improve others’ code.
• Influence product design, application functionality, and operations through informed decisions.
• Champion firmwide SDLC frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Architect and deploy secure, scalable cloud platforms optimized for AI/ML workloads.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Build CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code to streamline ML deployment and operations.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices and ensure secure, high-quality outputs.
