Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in Seattle to join the Corporate Sector, Infrastructure Platforms. You will help build trusted, scalable technology products, lead secure cloud platforms for AI/ML workloads, and guide teams in SDLC best practices.

You will work across Kubernetes-based systems, CI/CD, IaC, and AI tooling, ensuring performance and cost efficiency while shaping enterprise solutions for a wide range of applications.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering.
• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• System design, application development, testing, and operations.
• Kubernetes and Docker production experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C#.
• Knowledge of cloud delivery models (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Awareness of AI/ML concepts and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance aligned to business goals with engineers and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' work.
• Influence product design, functionality, and operations decisions.
• Champion SDLC frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Architect and deploy secure, scalable cloud platforms for AI/ML workloads.
• Collaborate with AI teams to translate compute needs into infra requirements.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost.
• Build CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for ML deployment and ops.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable standards.
