Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a seasoned translational scientist to lead PK/PD, pharmacometrics, and clinical pharmacology across Rx ophthalmic and consumer eye health programs. The role spans nonclinical and clinical activities, modeling, and regulatory interactions in a fast-paced pipeline.

Candidates should hold a PhD in a related field with 6+ years of experience, demonstrated leadership in PK/PD and PBPK, and strong communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline with typically 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PK, PBPK, PK/PD, pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology; ophthalmic drug development experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacology, PK, PD, and pharmacometrics activities across Rx ophthalmic and consumer eye health programs.
• Contribute to candidate selection, first‑in‑human strategy, dose selection, and life‑cycle management.
• Provide timelines and deliverables for portfolio prioritization and resourcing; negotiate expectations across functions.
• Lead regulatory submissions sections for IND/CTA, IB, briefing packages, NDA/BLA, and DMFs; ensure regulatory guidance compliance.
• Mentor and collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, and management; communicate key findings to stakeholders.
