Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in the United States is seeking a highly motivated translation scientist to drive translational nonclinical PK, PK/PD, and pharmacometrics for an industry-leading eye health portfolio. You will shape regulatory strategy and provide scientific leadership across multiple programs in Rx ophthalmic and consumer eye health.

The role requires a PhD with 6+ years of experience in PK/PD, pharmacometrics, and related fields, with strong modeling, data interpretation, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with PK/PD, pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology; ophthalmic drug development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacology, PK/PD, and pharmacometrics across Rx ophthalmic and consumer pipelines.
• Author regulatory pharmacokinetics sections (IND/CTA, NDA/BLA) and respond to health authority questions.
• Develop and oversee nonclinical PK, PK/PD and clinical pharmacology studies (first-in-human, ocular PK, DDI, QT/QTc).
• Provide interpretation of data to management and influence project decisions.
• Mentor team and manage vendor relationships; ensure compliance with ICH and FDA/EMA guidelines.
