Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a highly skilled translational scientist to lead PK/PD, pharmacometrics, and nonclinical pharmacology for ophthalmic and consumer products in the U.S. The role centers on PK/PD modeling, study design for first-in-human trials and life-cycle management, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Regulatory, and management teams.

The candidate will apply expertise in PK, PBPK, and pharmacometrics, with tools such as NONMEM, Monolix, and Phoenix WinNonlin, while guiding

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline with typically 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PK, PBPK, PK/PD, pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology, and/or drug metabolism and transporters.
• Ophthalmic drug development, topical/ocular PK, or ocular pharmacology experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads clinical pharmacology, PK, PD, and pharmacometrics activities across multiple programs spanning Rx ophthalmic and consumer eye health pipelines.
• Contributes to action plans for candidate selection, first-in-human strategy, dose selection and life-cycle management.
• Provides PK/PD timelines and supports regulatory submissions with go/no-go recommendations.
