Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a highly motivated translational scientist to lead nonclinical PK, PK/PD, ADME and pharmacometrics for its ophthalmic and consumer eye health portfolio. The role supports drug development from discovery through regulatory submission and life-cycle management.

You will design and oversee PK studies, interpret data, and communicate implications to management with go/no-go recommendations. Strong modeling, software, and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline with typically 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PK, PBPK, PK/PD, pharmacometrics or systems pharmacology, and/or drug metabolism and transporters. Ophthalmic drug development, topical/ocular PK, or ocular pharmacology experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads clinical pharmacology, PK, PD, and pharmacometrics activities across Rx ophthalmic and consumer eye health pipelines.
• Contributes to candidate selection, first-in-human strategy, dose selection and life-cycle management.
• Provides PK/PD timelines and informs portfolio prioritization and resourcing decisions.
