Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages with deep expertise in software architecture and related disciplines.
• Experience applying enterprise AI capabilities in architecture and engineering workflows with data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures with resiliency, security, and auditability.
• Ability to tackle design problems independently with minimal oversight.
• Experience evaluating current and emerging technologies to select the best future-state solutions.
• Strong judgment and communication skills to influence technical direction across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Represents a product family in technical governance bodies and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices.
• Provides technical guidance to business units, teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Leverages AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Guides evaluation of technologies using standards and frameworks; advocates leading-edge solutions.
• Drives decisions that influence product design, functionality, and operations.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Acts as a function-wide SME and contributes to engineering community via SDLC practices.
• Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled patterns and governance across SDLC/toolchain with traceability and security controls.
• Defines current and target state architecture for strategic apps to optimize business value.
• Leads initiatives to integrate GenAI into existing systems to enhance decision-making and customer experience.
• Builds innovative solutions using cloud-native design principles to address business problems.
