Job summary

PHM in the US seeks an Associate Director, Applied Data Science to lead advanced analytics and audience solutions for pharma and healthcare clients. You will apply statistical modeling, ML, and AI to transform complex data into actionable marketing insights while ensuring HIPAA-compliant privacy standards.

You will serve as a technical lead across client engagements, mentor data scientists, and collaborate with strategy, media, technology, and analytics teams to deliver data-driven solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in data science, statistical modeling, ML, or marketing analytics.
• Experience leading complex analytics projects and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Snowflake/Databricks) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, validation, and deployment of statistical models and ML solutions.
• Consult with clients and internal teams to translate objectives into analytics approaches.
• Analyze large privacy-compliant datasets to uncover actionable insights for targeting and optimization.
• Use healthcare data sources to develop audience, measurement, and commercial insights, HIPAA compliant.
• Apply marketing mix modeling, attribution, incrementality, and lift testing to evaluate campaigns.
• Develop AI-driven analytics to improve insights, workflows, and decision-making.
• Create dashboards and visuals to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor Data Scientists and Analysts and stay updated on trends.
